About
I started my photography journey like many kids in the '90s - with a humble disposable camera. But the real spark ignited when I started at a new high school and found the Woodwork classes full. In a last-ditch effort to avoid Geography, I signed up for Photography, and the moment I saw my first print appear like magic in the developer, I was in love with the process.
After earning my degree in Canberra, I moved to London. The city’s energy, bright lights, and gritty beauty captivated me, shaping my perspective behind the lens. London was also where I honed my craft, diving into fashion and advertising and learning from the last generation of artists who mastered film. They taught me not only how to control light and refine composition but also how to break the rules and bend the medium to my vision.
After countless grey years and more shoots than I ever imagined, I knew it was time to come home. Now back in Sydney for almost a decade, I’m grateful to be part of a vibrant creative community. I take pride in producing work that truly reflects the time and care put into the process. For me, photography is about capturing moments, telling stories, and making a statement through each image.
The greatest inspiration and motivation in my life comes from my young family. They’ve shown me what truly matters, and I’m constantly inspired by the lessons they teach me every day.
